Good experience so far
There are some minor nuances but overall pleasant to use, app interface is clear, ether keeps growing in staking while I spend via the card. Exactly what a holder needs 😊
A credit Visa from ether.fi with two modes: pay directly in stablecoins or borrow against your assets.

Was sure 0% FX applied only to euro, but in reality other currencies have noticeable fees. Nowhere clearly written, only found out after spending
Sent documents for verification, name mismatch popped up between profile and passport, account got “Account Locked”. Been waiting a week for unlock, no specifics from support
Been on this card for half a year now, migration to OP Mainnet went unnoticed for me, everything worked without interruptions. Metal card looks stylish, cashback credited honestly. No downsides found so far
Wrote to support 3 times about a transfer issue, only got response on third email after 5 days. For a financial product that’s unacceptably long
Was in Europe, paid with the card everywhere Visa is accepted, didn’t feel any euro rate issues at all no fees. Cashback on travel categories is great, like 5% I think. Recommend to anyone holding ether who doesn’t want to sell
Card rejects payments every other time, either $5000 daily limit exhausted though I didn’t spend that much, or they say merchant category restricted. Declined at a regular grocery store for some reason, annoying
Wanted to pay for gas at a gas station – declined, turns out there’s a list of 65+ restricted categories including gas stations. Nowhere was this clear beforehand, only found out by trial
Combined staking + card = beautiful. They send notifications for every transaction, can freeze the card right in the app if needed. Support answered fast when I had questions about limits. Overall satisfied
Suddenly card stopped working, app says “Bank service access pending” for second week now. Wrote to support – silence. Money is there but I can’t spend it, terribly inconvenient 😡
After update app started lagging, sometimes doesn’t load balance at all. Had to reinstall. Not critical but annoying every time
Ordered physical card at start of month, promised 15+ business days, already more than that passed. Support responds with template phrases. Only using virtual for now
Been using Ether.Fi Cash for 4 months now, deposited ETH and spend through Borrow Mode without selling coins. Cashback actually accrues, decent amount piled up in a month. KYC took a day. Only thing – waited almost 3 weeks for physical card, but virtual works right away 👍
$10000 monthly limit on Vault, didn’t exceed it but card still rejected transaction. Turned out deleted virtual card still “eats” limit for 7 more days – nowhere clearly stated
Used Borrow Mode, ether price dropped and I almost got liquidated on collateral, nobody warned properly in advance. Research the risks yourself, app doesn’t really explain when you’re on the edge
Ether.Fi Cash is a payment and credit Visa from the ether.fi project that lets you spend digital assets held on the platform balance. Issuance and servicing run through a partner issuer’s infrastructure, and the service becomes available after sign-up and verification.
The card runs in two modes: direct pay, where USDC or LiquidUSD is debited and converted into fiat automatically, and borrow mode, where the purchase is funded by a loan against your collateral at 4% APR. The service supports several card tiers, corporate cards for companies and a cashback programme paid in wETH.
It is a credit Visa (virtual and physical) linked to your balance in the service. At checkout the crypto is converted into fiat and the transaction is routed through the Visa network, so the card works anywhere that payment system is accepted.
The stated coverage is most countries worldwide (excluding sanctioned jurisdictions). The exact country list and local restrictions are set by the issuer, so check the terms for your country of residence before applying.
Yes, in most cases you need to register and pass KYC with an ID document. Some issuers also ask you to confirm a residential address in a supported region.
The baseline terms are: 1% FX fee; 4% APR on borrowing. On top of that, factor in the conversion rate, ATM fees and any charges from the payment partner — the issuer always publishes the current pricing.
In most cases yes: the card can be added to a mobile wallet for contactless payments. Availability depends on your country and the payment partner's rules.
