Gate Card overview
Gate Card is a crypto card from the Gate exchange that lets you spend digital assets in real time across most of the European Economic Area. Launched in June 2024, it comes as a physical or virtual Visa with Google Pay support.

Key features
As with other centralised platforms, the Gate Card balance is tied to your exchange account: at checkout or at an ATM the required amount of crypto is debited and converted into fiat automatically. Note that the FX fee outside the euro area varies by country, so the card works out best for EU residents paying in EUR.
How to get the card
- Create an account on Gate and pass verification (KYC).
- Apply for the card in the Card section.
- Fund your exchange balance with a supported asset and add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
