About the product
WhiteBIT Nova overview
WhiteBIT Nova is a Visa crypto debit card launched by the WhiteBIT exchange at the end of 2024. It is one of the few card products open to residents of Ukraine: the card balance is denominated in euros and payments are drawn straight from the crypto assets on your exchange account, with conversion at the moment of purchase.
Key terms
- Card type: Visa debit (virtual and physical)
- Supported currencies: USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, WBT and other assets held on WhiteBIT; card currency — EUR
- Where it works: 31 countries — the EEA plus Ukraine
- Fees: virtual card free, physical card from €10; 0% maintenance; ATM withdrawals €2 inside the EEA and €2 + 2% outside it; bank transfer top-ups 0.1%; up to 3% on transactions in the financial institutions category (MCC 6012)
- Cashback: up to 10% in BTC or WBT across three chosen categories, capped at €25 per month
Key features
Category cashback is Nova’s main draw: you pick up to three spending categories (subscriptions, taxi, pet supplies, entertainment, groceries and others) and can change them. Rates run from 1% to 10%, but the total payout is capped at €25 a month, so the headline percentages do little on large purchases. The card is issued by WhiteBIT’s Lithuanian entity and is payments-only — transfers to other cards or between Nova cards are not supported. As on the exchange itself, funds can be temporarily frozen for additional AML checks.
How to get the card
